For over 40 years, concrete has been a part of my life. I grew up working in my family’s large commercial concrete company here in the Atlanta area, learning the trade from the ground up. From laborer on job sites to foreman, superintendent, project manager, and sales—I’ve done it all. You could say concrete is in my blood.

I stepped away from the business for a time to serve my country in the United States Navy. I proudly completed one tour in the 1st Gulf War and another in the Bosnian Conflict, where I was honored with several medals for exemplary duty. That experience taught me discipline, integrity, and a deep respect for service—values that continue to guide me today.

When I returned home, I realized that builders, developers, and general contractors needed more than just a concrete contractor. They needed a partner who understood the complexities of commercial work— retaining walls, pits, footings, rebar reinforcement, mix designs, and finishing—and who could deliver consistent results on time and on budget. That vision is what led me to create Crawford Concrete LLC.

Today, the business has grown into a true family operation. After getting his undergraduate degree from Georgia Tech and his master’s from the University of Central Florida, Austin came back to join the team as our Director of Preconstruction. Avery worked in the business during his time at the University of Georgia and after graduating from the Terry College of Business, joined full time as the Director of Operations. Alongside me, my sons help run Crawford Concrete, carrying forward our tradition of hard work, quality craftsmanship, and personal integrity. Together, we take pride in serving our neighbors across the Atlanta Area and the Southeast.
